Our Products
Important Note: As of 2025, Oceanside Farms is no longer selling produce to the general public. Our certified seed potato operation is now stewarded by Twitter Creek Gardens.
Produce
Order freshly picked produce from Oceanside Farms’ online market and we’ll harvest your custom order and have it ready for you in a crate with your name on it for efficient pick up at our farmstand on East End Road. When you pick it up, you can also shop the existing farmstand if you want to supplement your order or see what other yummy vegetables we have that week! Remember that Oceanside Farms grows with care using organic methods, non-GMOs, and no synthetic chemicals for the most nutritious, delicious vegetables!
Poultry & Eggs
Oceanside Farms humanely raised two batches of pasture raised broiler chickens each year as part of our overall soil management. Reserve yours online so you don’t miss out! These plump, healthy roasters are sourced from a non-GMO, heritage bird flock and raised without ever having antibiotics or growth hormones. Their Oceanside Farms chicken tractors have a million dollar view! We also raise laying hens and ducks and sell their beautiful eggs to our customers!
AK Certified Seed Potatoes
Oceanside Farms grows 9 varieties of AK Certified Seed Potatoes using organic methods for farmers and gardeners. (We also sell new potatoes in mid-July and eating potatoes in the autumn.) The State of Alaska inspector helps us ensure that Alaska has the healthiest, most disease free crop in the US and we are happy to be part of it. Reserve yours online and we’ll have them for you in your crate when the temperature permits. As of 2025, Twitter Creek Gardens has taken over our seed potato operation. Please contact Twitter Creek Gardens for seed potato sales.
Garden
Oceanside Farms starts most all of our produce from seed using biologically active compost and organic methods. Watch for occasional nursery items that we put up for sale, like fruit and berry starts.
Non-Food Items
Show your support for healthy, local food production and “represent” healthy choices! Oceanside Farms sometimes has some farm bling, like t-shirts and mugs. Order from stock on hand, or contact us to arrange for custom orders.
Commercial Juicer/Press
Oceanside Farms has a commercial juicer/press that can cold-press your garden’s rhubarb into juice or apples into cider. If this is something you are interested in, please send us a message through our contact form.
Korean Natural Farming Books
Have you been curious about what Korean Natural Farming is and how to incorporate it on your farm or in your garden? Based on the wisdom of Master Cho’s teachings, science, and a growing understanding of nature, our Korean Natural Farming book set (practical guide and recordkeeping journal) offer wisdom and recipes for implementing KNF in Alaska and beyond.
Events & Opportunities
We occasionally offer farm tours, workshops, earn-as-you-learn, and volunteer opportunities. Some examples of work you may be doing would be planting or digging up potatoes. Contact us if you would like us to facilitate a farming or gardening related class or if you would like to volunteer at the farm. We’ve been actively teaching and presenting at conferences and for the KALI for years and are certified to teach Korean Natural Farming. Check out our YouTube Channel and learn about composting and the Johnson-Su bioreactor and biochar, or fruit tree growing with the Iceman and other locals!
“Information is like compost: it does no good unless you spread it around.”
